Pennines and Howgills

I have grouped together these two locations as there is a bit of a crossover in the two areas. The Howgill Fells are a neat group of rounded hills which lie to the north of Sedbergh. Recently they have been incorporated into the extension of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For my purposes the Pennines is the high ground that sits outside Teesdale, The Howgills and the Yorkshire Dales.
